I have just retired from the Army at 55 and my MoD pension will be 21k a year from now. I have also managed to get a job that pays 50K so my MoD pension will be taxed at 40%. I have also been invited to join my new companies Pension and I can put in a minimum of 4% of my base salary and they will match it.
